Warfield Concerts has announced their Fall line-up, which will consist of three concerts spread over four months. The first concert will be Saturday, September 14 at 7:30pm at the Malco Theater and will feature Real Entertaining, a quartet of four sisters ranging in age from 9-14. The girls, Rebecca, Emily, Abigail, and Lydia VanderVate, play a wide variety of favorite songs on the accordion, pennywhistle, violin, and harmonica—instruments that few children learn to play. This concert, held in conjunction with Helena Second Saturdays, a downtown street fair, promises to be a fun event for the whole family.

The second concert will be held Tuesday, October 22 at 7:30pm at Lily Peter Auditorium and will feature Alvin Ailey II. Ailey II is a modern dance company from New York City, founded by Alvin Ailey. The group is universally renowned for merging the spirit and energy of the country’s best young dance talent with the passion and creative vision of today’s most outstanding emerging choreographers. Founded in 1974, the company embodies Mr. Ailey’s pioneering mission to establish an extended cultural community that provides dance performances, training, and community programs for all people. Finally, Warfield Concerts will host their traditional Christmas show at the Lily Peter Auditorium on Sunday, December 8th. Both a matinee and evening performance will be offered due this show’s popularity. This year, the event will be a joint production with Helena Little Theater and will feature the talents of local performers.

As always, Warfield Concerts are free to the community through the generosity of a former citizen of Helena. The late Samuel Drake Warfield provided in his will the means for setting up the concerts which have been named for him. To download free tickets, visit www.warfieldconcerts.com.
