Credited with writing chart-topping hits for country stars, Sherrie Austin, Kylie Sackley and Alissa Moreno will debut their new tour entitled “Nashville Chicks with Hits” in Helena on Saturday, May 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Lily Peter Auditorium at Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA). The concert will be part of the Warfield Concert series, which is free, thanks in part to event sponsor Turley Charitable Trust.

Austin, Sackley and Moreno will perform the songs they’ve written and recorded and will tell the amazing stories behind each one. This concert will mark the first time these three woman have combined forces to bring attention to the faces and talent behind some of country’s biggest hits.

Among the hits Austin has written have been “Streets of Heaven,” which she sang; “Shotgun Rider” for Tim McGraw; “Good At Startin’ Fires” for Blake Shelton; and “Where’ve I Been All My Life” for George Straight. Sackley has written “Nothin’ Bout Love Makes Sense” for Leann Rimes; “Sunshine & Summertime” for Faith Hill; and “It’s Just That Way” for Alan Jackson. Moreno is credited for having written Grammy nominated “Every Day” for Rascal Flatts.
